Electrical connection

Risk of damage to unit in the event of short-circuits.

  1. Insulate PE conductor and individual cable cores that are not required.
  2. Do not touch electric components.
  1. Switch off mains fuse, secure against being accidentally switched back on and position a warning sign.
  2. Only lay single cable cores in the fan. To do this, remove power cable sheathing over a length of 100 mm. Strip single cable cores to 9 to 10 mm.

  4. Connect power cable to spring clip → Wiring diagram ECA 100 ipro.

The standard model of ECA 100 ipro can be operated in two levels with double switches. Without a double switch, the fan can be operated either at power level 1 or at power level 2 → Associated switching variants → Wiring diagrams.

  1. Check position of cable grommet. It must be well sealed.
  2. If necessary, connect a speed controller (STX 1,5).

The technology used in the phase angle controller may cause humming noises.
